The build process
1. Drop us a line
Please send an email to zach@acousticcycles.com or reach out through our Contact Us page for all initial bicycle inquiries.
2. Introductions /Get to Know You
Once you have reached out, we will send initial questions to get a feel for YOU. We want a high-level view into what you are looking for in a custom bicycle.
3. Design/Budget /Timeline
We will ask you to create a profile on our site and fill out our Custom Ordering Form. Each frame we build has Custom Geometry - the Order Form will guide you through taking measurements of your body. This will help us come up with a preliminary design and help start discussions on budget and timeline. It's at this point that we will also kindly ask for a deposit to lock in your build queue spot.
4. Final Design
Working closely with you, we will finalize details regarding frame geometry, braze-on selection, and overall aesthetics of your new ride.
5. Build Kit/Colors /Fabrication
Now it's time for the really important stuff. Let us handle creating your one of a kind bike while you select your Build Kit and your frame finish. We will send you a Sample Color Kit to help you select colors for your new ride.
6. Delivery / Stay in Touch
Once you get your bike, it's time to ride it! We will follow up with you to make sure you've received your new steed without a hitch.
